Dear Editor,

I would like to share ideas on “Successful Heart Transplantation to a Fulminant Myocarditis Patient during COVID-19 Outbreak – Lessons Learned”, which published on 2020 July issue of Korean Circ J.1) Kim et al.1) concluded that “During the outbreak of COVID-19, a balanced strategy to ensure the safety of HT recipient and medical staff is crucial in the consideration of each individual circumstance.”

In fact, the effect of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on heart transplant surgery is an interesting topic. Since there is a risk that both patient and medical staff take risk for COVID-19 during operation procedure, a good prevention is usually required. The good prevention must be planned for the world operation and related process.2) The good management should also be implemented for post operation care. There are already some reports regarding COVID-19 among patients post transplantation,3), 4) hence, good post-operative care is very important. Regarding post transplantation, the clinical course of the patient is an interesting for further research.
